£2m Resource Project Gets 2021 Off to A Positive Start

Jenks & Cattell Engineering are pleased to get off to a good start for 2021 after securing a tooling resource project with an existing customer which is worth £2m to the business.

The 26 stamping tools arrived on site at the end of December, all of which will run on our full range of progression presses (view our equipment here), and we were able to manufacture and deliver thousands of stamped components in a matter of days due to the urgent requirement.

Volumes of all 26 stamped metal components vary from 100,000 to 2 million per annuum.

We ended 2020 on a high, possibly being the busiest in terms of manufacturing output in over a decade, which resulted in opening for business for customer specific projects over the Christmas shutdown.
