Jenks and Cattell Engineering continues to invest in its employees to maintain the high quality of products we have always offered. We believe improving the knowledge of our employees is one of the best investments a company can make. That is why some of our shop floor staff have recently attended a course in Basic Training with a local Wolverhampton training provider @PLT training. They have completed and passed theories and practical assessments in various areas:

• Slinger/banksman duties- which included matters such as safety of personnel, slinging and lifting techniques, banksman duties and weight estimation and assessment.
• Overhead Crane & Slinging Techniques- with a capacity of up to 8000kg.
• Abrasive Wheels – which consisted of correct wheel mount, storage, inspection and selection of Wheels, Protective clothing, and equipment and PUWER 1998 & HSG17 regulations.
