A young artist has won our health and safety poster competition!
The competition, which was launched in August, invited employees, customers, and suppliers of Jenks & Cattell to submit their drawings on the theme of health and safety awareness. The company would like to thank everyone who submitted entries, but Re’Annes poster stood out for its originality and message. Re’Anne, the daughter of Mark, our Welding Team leader, impressed the judges with her colourful and creative drawing that highlighted the importance of health and safety rules in the workplace.
Re’Anne will be awarded tickets for a family day out as the main prize, and her poster, along with the other entries will be displayed around the site in the coming months. Samantha Rose, the Health & Safety Manager at Jenks & Cattell, thanked everyone who participated in the competition:
“We are delighted with the response we got from the competition, and we are very proud of our winning poster. Every entrant clearly understands the importance of health and safety in the workplace, and they have all shown great artistic talent. We hope that these posters will inspire others to follow the health and safety rules and to work safely and responsibly.” Samantha said.
Jenks & Cattell Engineering is one of the longest established metalwork engineering companies in the UK, with a skilled workforce of over 100 people, and the company is committed to providing high-quality products and services to its customers, as well as ensuring a safe and healthy working environment for its employees.
