Are you apprentice trained in mechanical and electrical engineering with PUWER certification with experience with industry-standard repair equipment such as lathes, milling machines, shapers, laser and CNC machines, robots, welding and power presses?

A hands on approach is required to safely repair and maintain with a continuous improvement mindset with responsibility for managing subcontractor activities.

Experience:
• Broad electrical and mechanical knowledge, with a bias towards electrical fault finding.
• Experience working with power presses is essential.
• Experience working with laser cutters, pressbrakes, industrial robots, spot welders, MIG/MAG weld sets and CNC equipment desirable.

Responsibilities:
• Responsible for ensuring equipment is maintained to a safe working standard.
• React promptly to safety concerns where maintenance support is required.
• Fault finding when machine breakdowns occur, and arrange external support as required to minimise downtime.
• Carry out TPM activities onsite, utilising personal skills alongside service contracts to ensure adherence to programme.
• Contribute and engage with CI activities where required.
