Jenks & Cattell Engineering Ltd have worked alongside City of Wolverhampton College for over 10 years to run our apprenticeship scheme and we are proud to have grown and continued to invest in many of our apprentice employees into full time skilled employees who are amongst our most valuable workers.
During the 2-year engineering apprenticeship, students will have day release to study at college 1-2 days per week with the remaining days working in our Wolverhampton office and shop floor to grasp many aspects of the sheet metal fabrications business. Many of our apprentices continue with further education including HND with excellent career opportunities.
This year, we have planned business in place to facilitate a larger engineering apprentice intake and we have five vacancies:
- Tool Maker / Setter
- Maintenance Engineer
- Production Planner
- Manufacturing Operator
- Estimator
