Remember at the beginning of this year we mentioned our big investments for the first six months of 2023?  Two months have already passed which means that the first brand-new X7 SYIL CNC machine is now here at our Wolverhampton site!

To prepare for the arrival of our first investment delivery of the year, we have been busy setting up our machining centre area, including laying protective seal coat flooring and constructing partition walls around the space. The arrival of the X7 SYIL CNC machine adds a whole range of new possibilities for Jenks and Cattell, most importantly, the ability to carry out an additional scope of work for our customers in-house as well as allowing for greater machining flexibility with tooling maintenance work.

This is just the first step in our new CNC machining centre, with our second piece of equipment due to arrive in August.
