For the second year in a row, Jenks & Cattell Engineering Ltd have received the Caterpillar ‘Supplier Quality Excellence Process’ award to their Silver level. Over the last twelve months, the engineering company has continued to meet Caterpillar’s stringent standards, across a range of metrics that are monitored on a monthly basis. This award is in addition to our bronze awards in 2008, 2010 and 2016.
Craig Jeavons, our Technical Director stated: “Through hard work, collaboration and process improvements, we can confirm that Caterpillar have recognised our performance is to their high exacting standards.
This last year has seen us collaborate even closer with some of their Senior Quality and Logistics contacts, with the reward being terrific.”
There are five specific criteria where Jenks & Cattell Engineering’s performance is scrutinised, including PPM, delivery performance and PPAP’s on time, to name a few; to which, all of these have been successfully met.
Craig then said: “This is a team effort and shall be received as such, and we look forward to being officially presented with the plaque, once COVID-19 allows.
Congratulations to all our team, let’s look forward to continuing this sustained level of performance through the next 12 months.”
Jenks & Cattell currently supply metal pressings, welded assemblies and laser cut fabrications to eleven Caterpillar plants across four continents, including both North and South America, China, India, mainland Europe as well as four in the UK.
