Jenks & Cattell Engineering hosted a fantastic Quiz Night on Friday 3rd October, raising an impressive £703 for Teenage Cancer Trust. This brings our running total to £847.30 so far this year, with the final figure to be announced near Christmas after completing all planned fundraising activities.
The evening took place at Willenhall Rugby Club, who kindly donated their venue free of charge, where 11 quiz teams competed across a range of trivia rounds, followed by a lively game of Play Your Cards Right. The competition was close, but the winning team “Quality Rejects” took the top spot and walked away with a £90 prize. A special thank you goes to Paul Yates and Adam Maiden, who kindly re-donated their winnings back into the fundraising pot.

A special thank you to Lisa Poxon, who secured a fantastic selection of corporate raffle prizes, including a 2016 signed England football shirt, which was raffled for £150 on the night.
The event was a huge success, combining fun, teamwork and generosity — all in support of a worthy cause of our nominated charity of the year. Thank you to everyone who took part, donated, or helped make the evening such a success.
