Support Our Team Members Run for Charity

At Jenks & Cattell Engineering Ltd, we are proud to support our team members who are making a difference through dedication. This month two members of our team are doing a run for charity.

Prostate Cancer

Adam Maiden, our Maintenance Engineer, is running an accumulative marathon throughout the month to raise money for Prostate Cancer UK. Adam has already surpassed his goal of 26.2 miles and has raised nearly £400 so far. Reflecting on his motivation, Adam shared, “I’m running 26.2 miles throughout January for Prostate Cancer UK. Prostate cancer now affects 1 in 8 men in the UK. That’s thousands of dads, partners, brothers, grandads, uncles, and mates. I’m raising money to help fund lifesaving research and support for men and their families affected by prostate cancer.” Last year, Jenks & Cattell Engineering sold Prostate Cancer badges and raised £420, continuing our commitment to this important cause.

Alzheimer’s Society

Meanwhile, Jordan Bradley, our Quality Technician, has teamed up with his girlfriend Lily to run a collective 100 miles during January in support of the Alzheimer’s Society, a charity close to both of their hearts. In the UK there are circa 900,000 living with dementia and Alzheimer’s Society funds life changing research and support for those suffering, and their carers. Lily & Jordan’s dedication to raising awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s research and support is truly inspiring and they have raised nearly £600 of their £700 target.

Get Involved

This Friday, other team members from Jenks & Cattell Engineering will join Adam and Jordan for a run/walk at a local park in Wednesfield. We invite everyone to join us in this effort. For more information, please email sales@jcel.co.uk.
