Jenks & Cattell Engineering is proud to receive Platinum Supplier Recognition from Dennis Eagle, one of the most prestigious bin lorry manufacturers in the world. This is Dennis Eagle’s highest supplier award. Only 35 suppliers out of their supply base of 205 achieved Platinum, placing Jenks & Cattell Engineering in the elite 20% of top performing partners recognised for excellence in quality, reliability, and service.
To achieve the criteria of Platinum, we exceeded the standards of >99.5% OTIF and >1.25% PPK.
The Only Metal Pressing on the Vehicle
As a long-standing supplier, we are particularly proud to manufacture and supply the only metal pressing used across the refuse collection vehicle. The component plays an essential role in every vehicle, reinforcing the trust and confidence placed in our engineering expertise and manufacturing standards.
Our team recently visited Dennis Eagle’s cab manufacturing site in Blackpool. Witnessing our metal pressing integrated into the build process was a proud moment for our team. It was a powerful reminder of the role we play in supporting every vehicle that leaves the line.
Award Presentation
The award was presented today by Chris Benton of Dennis Eagle, to our Managing Director, Ian Reed and the wider team. It was a proud moment for everyone involved – a recognition not just of performance, but of the dedication, precision, and teamwork demonstrated daily across our business. We are hoping it is the first supplier award of many!
