Jenks & Cattell Engineering are proud to announce we are new members of the North East Automotive Alliance (NEAA) which is an industry-led automotive cluster established to support the economic and sustainable growth and competitiveness of the automotive sector in the North East of England.
We manufacture sheet metal components and assemblies from our West Midlands factory & HQ which are shipped across the UK and exported worldwide. With the North East itself being responsible for producing nearly 1m commercial cars, passenger cars, off-highway vehicles and engines annually, we have a large manufacturing presence in the region of England in automotive and off-highway OEM sectors.
Jenks & Cattell Engineering have been key metal pressing and welded assembly suppliers to the automotive market for over 30 years, and are somewhat experts in stamping, laser cutting and more recently welding aluminium assemblies which often have an end use in an electric vehicle.
The increase of sheet aluminium component manufacture has significantly increased in the last decade with the automotive world shifting to more efficient, lighter, and alternate energy vehicles and Jenks & Cattell Engineering has a strategy to be as efficient and sustainable as our customer’ products by operating a Target Zero philosophy on defects, accidents, landfill, and variance.
