We are pleased to announce that we have now internally trained two of our newest Quality Assurance Technicians in the procedure of macro testing our MIG welds.

Both Sunil Dhanda and Dustine Cameron have successfully completed our in-house training course, which was overseen by Sarah Austin, our QA Team Leader.

The programme includes the preparation and analysis of welds, which have been either manually or robotically produced.

The weld is subjected to a ‘cut through’, which enables us, to use chemicals to develop the filled area to be measured under a microscope where dimensions are taken and recorded.
