Jenks and Cattell keep investing in staff members in all areas of the business. Four of our staff have recently completed a one-day course on the safe use and storage of folded and portable ladders and stepladders with a local training provider, PLT training to ensure health and safety on the premises of our Wolverhampton site. Congratulations to Claire, Mark, Carl and James on completing the course.

Providing training in areas that might seem obvious and simple is essential to having a good understanding of the fundamentals of health and safety and should not be overlooked. This is why the course for our staff included information such as; ladder safety specifications, ladder and step defects and correct ladder usage.

This training aids our Target Zero philosophy of zero defects, accidents, variance, or landfill to improve our productivity, quality and cost for all the customers to benefit from.
