With a team of just under 100 at Jenks & Cattell Engineering and planned growth in sight for 2022 and beyond, we have created some job vacancies whilst in the process of completing internal promotions.

Managing Director, Mike O’Shea said: “We are in a strong position, and I would like to make it even stronger. Please support us with a new approach and do everything you can by looking to improve work areas every day and then sustain the changes.”

Some of our current roles include Production Planner and Toolmaker, both of whom will require experience albeit further training will be provided.  

We have also created a new role in a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer as we look to move some of our mechanical press maintenance internally. This candidate must be experienced in the day-to-day trials and tribulations of metal stamping press machines ranging from 60-1000 tonnes in the form of single operation, transfer line and progression.

Established in 1886, Jenks & Cattell Engineering are one of the most established engineering companies and employers in the UK and specialise in the manufacture of metal components with our metal pressing, laser cutting and welded assembly facilities. The business serves a diversification of industries including the fast paced and high quality automotive/EV, off-highway, alternate energy and medical markets and experience in these industries will be beneficial for the job vacancies.
