As we approach the festive season, Jenks & Cattell Engineering is excited to share top moments from December before we close on 19th December and reopen on 2nd January.
This year has been filled with joy, generosity, and community spirit. Here are our top 8 highlights:
- Kids Out: The Giving Tree
Our team came together to gift 72 children’s toys for Kids Out: The Giving Tree. In line with our commitment to sustainability, we pledged to plant as many real trees in 2025 as gifts donated. - A Child’s Heart Collaboration
Partnering with Oliver Rae, we gifted an additional 20 toys to children to support A Child’s Heart, spreading more Christmas cheer. Oliver Rae delivered over 1,000 Christmas bags to children in the West Midlands. - Supporting Good Shepherd
For the second consecutive year, we donated two sacks full of toiletries and food to Good Shepherd in Wolverhampton, aiding vulnerable people in our local area. - Mince Pie Competition
Our Maintenance Engineer, Adam Maiden, won the top prize in our mince pie competition, earning a £20 Greggs voucher to enjoy more baked delights! - Christmas Party and Raffle
Our Christmas party featured a generous raffle with over 20 winners, spreading joy and excitement among our team. - Christmas Jumper Day
Many of us embraced the festive spirit by participating in Christmas Jumper Day, adding sparkle to our workplace. - Jinks the Elf ‘Elf & Safety’ Drawing Competition
Jackson won our drawing competition, earning a family day out prize. All participants received a Christmas selection box, and their drawings will be proudly displayed on our walls in the new year. - Welcomed New Team Members
2025 is looking like it is going to be a very busy year for manufacturing at Jenks & Cattell Engineering. To support some of this work we have welcomed Andrei as Supply Chain Analyst, Mark as Estimator Sales Engineer, Darren as Process Engineer and John as Senior Project Lead.
As we look forward to 2025, we are excited about the opportunities and adventures that lie ahead. Thank you for being part of our journey, and we wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
Stay tuned for more updates and exciting news in the coming year.
