Celebrating the Women of Jenks & Cattell Engineering for International Women’s Day 2026

International Womens Day in Engineering

At Jenks & Cattell Engineering, we are proud to celebrate the talented women who help drive our business forward every day.

Out of our 110 employees, there are women working across a variety of roles within the company. Their dedication, skill, and professionalism play a vital part in the continued success of our organisation and the high standards we deliver to our customers.

To recognise their contribution and to mark International Women’s Day 2026, we gave our female team members a little extra time in the afternoon to step away from the factory floor and offices and enjoy an afternoon tea together. It was a small gesture of appreciation and a chance for colleagues to relax, connect, and celebrate their achievements as part of the Jenks & Cattell team.

We are also especially proud to highlight an exciting milestone for the company – welcoming our first female toolmaking apprentice. Toolmaking has traditionally been a male-dominated field, and we’re delighted to see more women exploring careers in engineering and skilled trades. Supporting the next generation of engineers and the skills gap is something our team is passionate about.

At Jenks & Cattell Engineering, we believe that a diverse and inclusive workforce strengthens our business and our industry. Today, we celebrate the women who are already part of our journey and look forward to welcoming many more in the future.

Thank you to all the women at Jenks & Cattell Engineering for the contribution you make every single day.
