Jenks & Cattell Engineering presented their 100th Eagle Eye Award last month, a quality initiative to empower our team to spot and stop issues early. It reinforces our belief that quality is at the heart of everything we do.
The 100th award marked a key milestone for a program which tackles product variants, defects, wrong labels, and quality risks in our welding, pressing, laser cutting, machining and warehousing areas. All of our team members are encouraged to act quickly and proactively when they spot problems. Each recipient receives a certificate and a £25 voucher as recognition.
More importantly, quality concerns have reduced since the initiative launched. Wayne Flanagan, Head of Quality, said: “The Eagle Eyes are preventing repeat issues and helping us learn from past problems.”
This milestone highlights collaboration and continuous improvement. By rewarding vigilance, we are building a stronger culture of quality — one Eagle Eye at a time.
